Size 56 cm center-center or about 58 cm center-top. Top tube is also 56 cm c-c
Color is Silver Lylac Metalic and in excellent condition.
Frame sticker says, "Assembled in Green Bay," so I''m guessing it was built in Japan.
It was originally equipped with 700c wheels and normal reach brakes. Right/Left chain stays are each factory-crimped on the inside for greater tire clearance.. Bike is pictured with 650B x 38 tires and Dia Compe 750 brakes to demonstrate potential for a 650 conversion.
Tech Specs: Standard British Threaded Bottom Bracket, Standard 1" threaded ISO Headset Spec. Suntour Dropouts. Seat tube fits 27.2 mm post. 6 speed 127 mm rear axle spacing. Brakes require hex nuts--brake holes are NOT countersunk for Allen Bolts.
*Detel was a company based in Green Bay, Wisconsin. They were only in business in 1983-84. Apparently, their investors backed out.
