1961 Gitane 650B Rando Convert

This is the replacement for my  pick-up truck-crashed Jeunet.  It's the "Woman Record de l'heure" model. It was originally outfitted with tubulars and Campy GS derailleurs as a race bike with Reynolds 531 main tubes, Durifort fork blades and Campagnolo dropouts.

Alumalite safety lights with brackets for rack. Bolted to bag.

Fluorescent REG Grips and Universal "Legnano" housing.

Alumalite USB Tail Light Prototype.  Direct Mount
I made a "Spring Thingie" to even out the fender clearance. The spring also allows the rear wheel to push the fender out of the way for wheel changing. I tried the VO spring set. But, it used a 4 mm bolt,  and was too loose. I bought a 5 mm bolt at the hardware store and added a heavier spring from Ax Man Surplus Store.
